Creditor’s Statutory Demand

We are coming up for Christmas and it is a favourite time to serve a Creditor’s Statutory Demand on a company that owes you money.

You deliver the CSD at the registered office of the company, which is usually an accountant, at 4.30pm on Christmas Eve when no one is there.

Then the office is closed until the New Year, or maybe a bit longer.  The accountant may not send it to the client straight away and before they know it, they are deemed to be insolvent.

We are sending out to the accountants in our local area, a Christmas present in the form of a laminated checklist, an example covering letter and an information guide to send to their client in the event that a CSD is served on the accountant’s office.

If you think your accountant might like a copy, send me their details.
