An Apostille is another certificate which verifies the Notary Public who witnesses a document, or certified a copy, to be a true copy.

Certain countries require an Apostille or Authentication to authenticate the Notarial Seal. This is another certificate which verifies that Notary Public who witnesses a document, or certified a copy to be a true copy.

In Australia, this authentication is carried out by the Perth office of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade:
